Kim Miller, (wife, Bonnie), Betty Ann Miller, Pam Wingert, (husband, Dwayne), Doug Miller, Bonnie Overend, Mark Miller, (wife, Angie), Jeff Miller, (wife, Connie), Lori Ensminger, (husband, Mike), a brother-in-law, Dan Layton, his wife’s siblings, Ricky Ward, (wife, Coraleah), and Dean Ward, (wife, Janet), and many nieces and nephews. Dickson, (husband, Ricky), all of Greencastle four grandsons: Jared Miller, Ethan Miller, Tripp Miller, and Ryker Dickson one step-grandson, Alek Balazs thirteen siblings: Robert Miller, (wife, Ellen), Connie Keller, (husband, Harold), Jeannie Blubaugh, (husband, Norm), Larry Miller, (wife, Barb), Ronald Miller, (wife, Linda), D. In addition to his wife, Dena, he is survived by three children: Eric C. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions. He also completed numerous other marathons and races. He was an avid runner, who in his early 50’s, completed the JFK 50. He played for the church basketball league, making and keeping friendships along the way. He coached Little League baseball, while his sons played. Richard was quick to make friends and enjoyed making conversation with friends and strangers alike. He was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church, Greencastle, a former member of Kauffman Ruritan Club and up until about two years ago, volunteered his time with Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, Chambersburg, where he spent time sitting with patients and talking with their families. Richard was employed as a Purchasing Agent for Fairchild Industries, which became Rohr Industries, as well as for Mack Truck/Volvo, until he retired in 2013. They were married December 24, 1971, in Williamsport, MD. He and his wife, Dena Rae (Shank) Miller, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past year. He graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1968 and went on to earn his BS Degree from Shepherd University. Born October 26, 1950, in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Melchor D.
